I was looking at upgrading one of my 500 models to a 510 and got a pricing of about $400 from the Shopsmith outlet in Toronto but felt that this was kind of iffy so I went on Craigslist in my area and found a bareboned 510machine for $300. Got to see it and bought it on the spot it started like a charm, the only sad part is that I was told that there were no other accessories for it. It was the child of a family breakup and everything except the tables and the machine were thown in the garbage by a pissed off ex. Still it is a great purchase, so people keep looking there are great deals out there for dedicated shopsmith owners.
