The local (Payson) radio station has been doing TradesNSales classifieds on the air for 20-some years. They recently added a website, where you can post your ad.

This ad had me palipatating!

Called the lady, but she said the Mk V was sold within an hour of the ad going up.

Yeah, I reckon!

Funniest part was the comment by the lady on the phone. I said I was not surpised it was gone quickly at that price and she said "I wish we had had 10 of them!"

I didn't bother telling her she could have asked $250 for that one, and still sold it in an hour!

Sorry, Doug, that you missed that. And, she missed a zero. You'll find another one soon. Have found a couple more here in Pensacola for not much on Craig's list, but I don't have any more room or a need for them at the moment. But, both my children told me that they want both of mine when I finished. Daughter will turn and son will work mostly with a bandsaw, I think.

Better luck in the near future!

You had better hope you are not in Pine when the next one gets posted because if it is you'll have to be satisfied with the free coffee and donuts that I am going to offer you right after I get that puppy loaded.

Now if the offer is in Pine or even Payson, you won't have to rush. I won't be headed that way.

Plan to go see this one. Need a second joiner as I have willed a SS to each of my children. Need one more joiner to complete the sets. Then can sell off the parts or keep them for maintenance. Some other good deals around. It's sad to see all these units for sell. It seems to say that our society no longer values a super machine with super engineering. The accuracy, dependability and versability of such a machine is as American as turkey and football on Thankgiving.

Edit: - Oops! Forgot to post the link. Maybe I can get it right this time. LOL http://pensacola.craigslist.org/tls/2414178346.html

haha. I really don't have need for a second one, either, but at $25 -- how could one go wrong? I was already thinking about what I could do with it as a machine dedicated for some specific purpose, or as a mini, or --- the possibilities were almost endless at $25!!
