Home Made Chip Chute for Jointer

Having found I have a hybrid Shopsmith / Magna / Taiwan clone "Franken-jointer", I wasn't sure if the SS chip chute for attaching a dust collector would fit.

This home made piece seems to do the trick. I had fun building it. It's just a simple sheet of hardboard with the female end of an old shopvac wand hot glued on. Does the trick for now.
