Nitric Acid procurement

Post by drewa »

We have been getting calls in to help desk about how/where to get Nitric Acid. Well, you may not be able to find it locally, or if so, you may need to be an educator to buy it. There are some resources on the web that will sell you Nitric Acid. One being:

Also, please read the MSDS on it:

Enjoy your oxidation,

PS, you can also etch with this stuff. go and get creative

Drew - What's your avatar picture. Could it be a temperature photo of Lake Erie? I know it's not your heart and colon!

Have thoroughly enjoyed your work on the Sawdust sessions - including your banjo picking! Thanks for being there at Shopsmith!:D

It took me a while to figure out what you meant by that comment. Now I know... Yes that is exactly what that is. Good guess.
