My guess (And just a guess) they had to be part of the group Nick is involved with.
SPRINGFIELD, Ohio is a suburb of Dayton.

Just did a search and Nicks group is called "the Wright Brothers Aeroplane Company" Anyone know if the two co. are related?

My thoughts also go out to the families of those killed. It looks like they died doing something they loved to do. Hopefull that is of some consolation to the family in thier time of grief.

We met these guys at our T Bucket Nationals in Dayton, OH, back in June. Many of our cars were photographed with a previous airplane; the one that crashed is a new one, still undergoing testing.

Very sorry to hear about this; there was a post about it from one of our Dayton guys just a little while ago.

Not my group, guys, but the pilots were friends of mine. Thanks for the well-wishes.

With all good wishes,
Nick

So sorry you lost two good friends, Nick. I am an avid RC airplane nut, and I know the scale guys are a living library of knowledge. Such a shame to lose them. God bless you all in your time of loss. jimsjinx
