router "table" for ShopSmith

I have mounted my router on my ShopSmith where it has a place for it, and it works there fine. But most router tables have a plexiglass shield above the router bit...is there someone who has fashioned one for the ShopSmith? Or are there plans available to do this? I hesitate to just try to make one when someone has already done this. I appreciate any help.

May be a 'fit'. It needs the tapped hole in the rear of the router table. No notch to clear a fence.

Question is, how/where did you mount your router 'on the shopsmith'? On the shopsmith 'what'?

This shield assumes below 'table' router/bit location.

But please don't let us ignore you. If you have a question, there are many folks here who can and will provide an answer. We sorta get our kicks doing that; don't deprive us, please.

No question is a foolish question except the one not asked.

It really does not matter what you 'mounted it on' other than we need to know so as to better answer the question.

If you still desire our input, holler!:)

P.S. that SS link will actually work anywhere there is a threaded hole to attach the mounting post.
