Does anyone have a spare 3326 chuck for sale?

I've been hunting high and low for a used 3326 drill chuck for my SS but it has apparently been discontinued.

This is a shot in the dark, but what the heck. Does anyone happen to have an extra they are willing to let go at a good price for a junior woodworker?

Thanks!

Steve

Thanks Bob - it's hard to tell from that photo - does it have the set screw to mount it directly to the spindle?

Cheers!

It does!

3326's can be found on e-bay almost all days. They are usually much less $$.

Patience Grasshopper. Last week there were several.

This is a Goldie vintage Jacobs 'MC8K26' which will also work quite well.http://www.ebay.com/itm/Shopsmith-Mark-V-Jacobs-Multi-Craft-Drill-Chuck-MC8K26-W-key-/170698123298?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item27be66a822

It too is priced too high.

Wait till more reasonable fare is offered.;)

Many thanks. I'll keep my eye open for a reasonably priced solution.

I *do* have a jacobs chuck, but it's a 1/2" threaded spindle. I use it with a SS arbor and it works fine, but the threaded section is far too long to use the mortising attachment.
