I seen this idea a while back in some magazine[ATTACH]14483[/ATTACH]

[ATTACH]14485[/ATTACH] That****%%%### vaccum cleaner cord. Rigged this up today on my setup... Works quite well as i roll it around cord is not always in the casters..... same setup would work if attached directly to shop vac tub.

also for those that use dust deputy and hose keeps
falling off of deputy. drilled 1/4 inch hose in hose and deputy and make 1/4 inch dowel into 5/8 dowel for handle....... VIOLA the hose now stays on when pulling vac around...........

I'm a little confused at the red arrow. Does that indicate airflow goes out there?

the red arrow is just a referance mark. line the hole in the black hose up with the arrow and put the pin in....... air flow is actually the other direction.....

Ah! Clarity. Looks like an idea I saw in a brit woodworking magazine. The author built mould and created a fibreglass cyclone dust extractor ('The Woodworker', January 2009, p.22). He makes reference to a very useful site http://billpentz.com/woodworking/cyclone/index.cfm, which contains a wealth of research about cyclone design (think 'Dyson vacuum cleaners').
