well I made $46 dollars at my first show. Most people were just looking, I was selling some things for $1 and most loved the products but just couldn't part with a dollar.
I was selling:
Magic wine bottle holders
oak for $10, pine for $1, mdf for $1
wood pens for $10
wood brain teaser puzzles $5
I sold 2 pens, 2 oak bottle holders, 5 of the assorted wood and mdf holders
but I did meet a coupe of fellow shopsmith owners who have never heard of this forum so hopefully they will check this awesome forum out.
My daughter Crochets and she made $41 dollars for her hats, I was one proud father.

Looks like a nice outing! Your wine-bottle holders are much nicer than the one I bought here from a nephew. Do you drill or rout the holes?

Since when is Capt Morgan a 'wine'?:D
Looks like you had sufficient stock on hand!;)
Maybe you need to call them bourbon holders.

Maybe I am from Ky and bourbon is a favorite drink of mine.
There are a lot of good ones.

Congratulations on your first show. I hope you enjoyed the outing. I also hope your next one is even more successful.
I have often thought of making those wine holders but never got around to it. They are intriguing. Since my expensive oak wine rack didn't sell last time maybe I should switch to the less expensive item next time

The first show was a little slow for what I was anticipating. I am trying another show on Nov.18th. So we'll see what happens.
I might put a few turnings out as well.
And of course bringing my crocheting daughter along to sell her hats and scarves.

My wife is a wino I would have been leaving with 40 dollars of the holders myself. But I am also a sucker for hand made "the little guy" items.

Those holders are for 'storing', not 'consuming'!:D
