Scrap Wood Project/Mini Peppermill Grinder

A couple of months ago, Penn State Industries came out with a new turning project....a Mini Salt & Peppermill grinder. The catalog picture showed a finished Peppermill that consisted of laminated wood, and stands only 4 1/4 inches tall.
I took this as an opportunity to use up some of my scrap wood, and managed to glue up enough blanks for three mills. Don't ask me what the wood scraps are....its been too long. I know that I have some Red Oak, and maybe some birch in there, but I just can't say for sure.
Using the glued up blanks, the turning process creates some interesting effects. I used Wipe On Poly for a finish.
Happy Thanksgiving!
