One arm of adjust lever contacts top of casters when making lift to move position. Can arm be moved away from casters to resolve this issue? New roll pin hole must be drilled for new position. What does SS recommend?

Older casters had the foot pedal very close to the end, newer ones have it about an inch or so closer to the center. You can punch out the roll pin and carefully use the pedal as a guide to drill a new hole. Just make sure to keep it in line with the old hole.

This does not make sense to me! The longest arm of the foot pedal only extends about 1/8" beyond the end of the piston, and then only momentarily when lowering the ss to the floor.

The relocation of the foot pedal further in from the end was to accommodate power station and stands etc. which had angled legs that interfered with the crank when in the original location.

The shorter arms do not extend beyond the piston in any position.

 I have the older set; I will make the modification as per your idea. Align with the old hole, no trouble. Thanks...

Because the new casters are fat round the top than the older casters, the foot pedal makes contact with that top. I will relocate the foot pedal closer to center to resolve the issue... Hope this makes more sense, now...

I understand the 'fat' part, but not why it would be 'high' enough to interfere with the foot pedal. But then my 'new, large casters' are not the ss ones.

The new caster would have to be closer that 1/4" to the end of the piston to contact the long arm of the footpedal while lowering the ss(raising the casters).

Is the ss bearing 'housing' 2" or more in diameter? I took a gander at the ss description and I see that they probably are. Consternation resolved!!!!!
