My wife is 'older' than I and sometimes she gets 'challenged'! Those young whippersnappers cannot believe she is almost diamond jubilee age. Hell I cannot believe I am so close myself!:eek:
What I cannot understand is the 'mind' set that causes some to be insulted by being given an old fogey discount when they did not ask for it(and therefore divulge their true age). I would gladly accept ANY offer of reduced paying for whatever reason it was offered.
Because of those mentally challenged/confused folks(aka IDIOTS), I MUST ask for such discounts even though I resemble father time. Clerks are not 'allowed' to assume!:( End Rant!!!;)

The only place I ever get carded is at Hooters.

Whew, sore subject at our house. Every time they acknowledge the bride looks like a senior and ask if I am certain I am old enough, the bride grows a bit sullen. Fjimp
