angle cutting

What tool do you all use to get your angle correctly cut?
I have a few, but they are old and could be out of wack, as I just found out when trying to cut some stave pieces.
is the new digital angle finder the best?

Are you referring to table tilt or miter gauge angles?
For table tilt, I use the Wixey. For the miter gauge, I use the Miterset.

I have been reading about the wixey, most people seem to like it expect it doesn't lock the best,but over all they seem to like it fine.
now about $49 at amazon free shipping

yea jpg, the wixey protractor locks open by a turn of something, but most reports were that it doesn't work good.

I use a Wixey but not the protractor. If you are trying to set the table tilt, I am confused about how you would use the protractor.

I have a Wixey, and I use it. However, I've found that you have to take the battery out when not in use, or it will be dead when you need to use the device.
My Starrett 6" combination square is so accurate, and handy in my apron pocket. I'll tend to reach for it most of the time.

So! Who was referring to
protractors before 'now'?
You probably were, but ....(or at least so it seems 'now').
Does anybody use a wixey 'protractor' to set table tilt?
