I made disparaging remarks about those plastic pyramids used in finishing. There were a couple of good suggestions in that thread. Here's another idea. This works pretty good. Very flexible. Cost - zero. I'm sure everyone has these pieces in their shop.

Did you sand all those edges by hand?
I saw them on the other thread and was wondering.

Round stock on rails. Around here we call that a train. Rolls real nicely. Which is not what I want on things I'm painting or working on.

Honestly, the pyramids or nails on a bock on a three legged pattern will not roll and will hold the piece securely.

I received one of the pyramid lazy Susan's as a gift. I am using it to put sealer on bowls I am turning. It is great. Fjimp

Roughly: SS belt sander 70%, palm sander 15%, sanding block 15%
