I have been tryingto figure out how to post a question, tooo dumb I guess. Anyway, maybe you can help . I purchased a used shopsmith , the belts appear to be good, had to replace the motor shieve. Now, when you turn it on, it runs wide open and I cannot seem to slow it down. I assume the spped control is either bad, hooked up wrong or if it can be adjusted , nees adjusted, I really don't know. I tried to look at it, and it is outof vision range, or at lest out of my mental range.
