Well went out to the shop and the speed dial kept turning and did not stop when it was suppose to. So time to look up maintainence and see how to reset and adjust it.. I am hoping something just came loose and nothing broke but will know later today. The speed changes but the dial is not stopping like it use to. This is on my 520 so after 16 years of the 510 and now my second machine which is a anniversery 520 I finally have a speed dial to have to be adjusted. So guess if this is the biggest issue in all these years it proves this is a great machine.
Also great weather still here in OK was 70 yesterday and will be 50 today so cannot complain since last year this time was buried in snow and freezing weather.

Which 'end'(slow/fast) is it not stopping at(one or both).

With a bit o luck it will be the crank set screw loose allowing the gears to 'skip tooth'. Or the idler gear loose causing the same.

Time for a high speed adjustment!.
