My latest project

My Sister in/law wanted a Box Loom or a tape loom built . Man this little project was a good work out for the SS . Made from 4/4 cypress planned down to 1/2 inch, few pieces of walnut for the cog locks. Lots of band saw fun on this project...

Really cool project, Little John!:D Not only a real good piece of woodworking, but a project made for a skill that many of us have forgotten.

That is the smallest loom I've ever seen. (My wife's 'little' loom is a 4 harness, 40"). Nice work. Thanks for posting.

Thanks for sharing your project and the link with the information about how it is used. Not only did you do a great job on the loom but you also are bringing back a tool that you showed can be made for doing what our past generations did. Great job!!

Thank you for the replies ...it was a fun little project I must say. Sister in/law She dose reenactments from the early 1700"s in Savannah Ga. I got a feeling it want be the last one I build ...no telling what will be next ..
