Recently my 90yr old dad(DE) sent my son (via moving truck to OH) his Shopsmith Mark v equipment. Last week I was with my dad as we cleaned it and got it ready for moving. It will be moved the last week in Jan. My son has done some woodworking but I would like someone to go through the equipment and help him set it up. He (my son) lives in Cincinnati. Is this possible? Shopsmith told me to get on the forum. Pat

Welcome to the forum, woodhunter. What you have offered is a great gesture.

Thank you for your replies...it looks like the closest person so far is in Youngstown. That is about 5 hours from my son. Surely, there is someone from the Cinci area. I hope there is someone who can help. Pat

Has anyone pointed you to the map?
This is a good example of why we should all put ourselves on the map. There are always newbies who need help (and even some of us oldies from time to time.)

Beats me. Use the "search" and I'm sure someone has explained it. I'm pretty sure that's how I figured out how to do it, but it's not the kind of knowledge I bother to retain. Wasn't it Einstein who said there was no need to memorize something you can look up, or something like that?
