This Shopsmith item that looks like it goes to the mitre gauge. I've not seen one before and can't find it in the catalog. Does anyone know what it is?
Thanks in advance

I'm guessing it is part of the Miter-Pro (Part No. 555404). It appears to be missing the other metal "fence" that would be installed 90 degrees to the fence you have. The bar under the part with "Shopsmith" on it would run in the miter track allowing for 45-degree cuts.

mitre-pro it is indeed. as already stated it is missing the longer side and the stop block which also can be used on the regular mitre gage

Can't tell for sure but it looks like it is also missing the sticky backed sandpaper that adheres to the arms. Sandpaper is a necessary part on my Miter-Pro. It keeps wood from slipping.

BTW - I also use sticky backed sandpaper on my miter gauge extension.

Thank you all for your help. I looked at the mitre-pro in the catalog but it just wasn't pictured very well in the issues I have.

Thank you very much
