Didn't spot any so I had to take a few pictures of this Eagle.

Imagine my disappointment.
Well I got to keep busy doing something until I can work in the shop again.

Nice! Get them all the time here, and further north up the coast in Breckenridge. Amazing to watch them hover in one place for a long time.

Really nice pictures. We have a couple that nest here in Wichita. They are a beautiful bird.

Hi,
These were taken by the river in almost downtown Yorkville.

Hi, ED! Absolutely beautiful photos! Just like with woodworking - you and your camera do excellent work!
No matter how many Bald Eagles I have seen, I always get goose bumps when getting a good view of one. Same thing happens with Ospreys!
Thanks for posting your "disappointment"!

No matter where they fly, they are truly regal birds.
Many years ago, I lived very close to Flathead Lake in Lakeside, Montana. We used to picnic by the lake on the weekends just to watch the eagles. They were numerous then. I sure hope they still are.
Unfortunately, back then I could not take a decent photograph to save me.
