ImageI just got it off Craigslist today what a deal. Solid cast iron top.
This will help when I miss a cut so I don't have to set up the tablesaw mode of
My shopsmith again.

Is that the motor hanging under the front end? I've got a similar model, but the motor is hanging off the back. How about a side shot of what's under the table?

That's the switch box on the front.

The motor is in the back. This saw was from 1977.
Made in Chicago, IL.
The guy even had the original owners manual.

I will start cleaning the saw up tonight and getting it tuned up.

I bought one just like it in 1978. Used it for about 10 years before moving up to a Delta contractors saw.

Not a bad looking $50.00 saw. Looks like the top cleaned up pretty good. Congratulations.
