Hello everyone, I am new to the shopsmith but have been a woodworker for 25 years. I hope I contribute more than I ask for help.

Asking for help is preferable to being confused.
Contributions can come when they may!:)

It would help to put a location on your signature and what you own, that way advise can be tailored.
Welcome.

Yes, it would be nice to know a bit more about who you are, where you live and what wood working experience to bring with you but I'll be honest. It has nothing to do with how much better I might be able to help you. I am just nosey.

Welcome from another newer member (I am new to SS and WW so I don't contribute much advice). I hope you enjoy the group here as much as I do. These guys do try to keep us all finding WW with SS rewarding.
