Looking at the machine it is not a 1979 vintage. Your serial number 37866 needs another digit.

I checked it again tonight and my son (who's eyes are better than mine)
Here is what he found: 378877

I really don't know, but do put stock in my kid's eyes. lol.

The brown/gold/tan colors are from 1960-1963. From the colors and the serial number I'd say 1962/3 (chart numbers go to 373422 at the end of 1961 and no records of the later few years of production).

If and when you get inside you can check for the motor, 1-1/8hp was introduced in 1962. Some time in 1963 the color changed to gray.

I called the company for a couple of parts and they told me to measure the table saw table, it was just under 14". So, he said that it was a 500 and that parts that fit the 500 would fit mine. I guess that mine is the more inexpensive (cheaper) version.

Not 'all' the parts, but most of the important parts.

Now AIUI 500 model stuff is no longer 'in production'.

FWIW, the rip fence and extension table are 'backwards' in yer pix.


P.S. If the innards are as well preserved as the outside, ya got a goodun!
