Does anyone have a diagram or construction details on the lathe duplicator table? It is in the exploded diagram but it doesn't show up in the service parts list and there seems to be no part number.

I think there might be more then one version of this tool. I have no idea as to what the differences are. The one I have has an exploded drawing that has the table numbered as 32. This is then part number 514763 table assy.

Now my version is dated 5/16/96 and listed as part number 555638. I don't know if this was helpful or not but if not let me know if you want more information.

I do have the metal parts of the table, 514697 table supports and 514416 tool rest posts. I'm guessing I could get some laminate counter top, cut it to size and put in threaded inserts for machine screws?

That sounds like something I would do. Right now I've been forced to repack the garage and I'm not sure I have access to the table but if I do I can take a couple of pictures of it. If I can't get to it then maybe someone else could get some pictures for you.

REVERSE THE 18 3/4 AND 13 3/4

Whoops!!!! They be reversed. Original post 'addendumed'.

I'm not sure the dimensions of the table are particularly critical: as long as it spans the table mounting posts/brackets in the front to back direction it can be any width you want. A narrower table will require moving the carriage more often than a wider table if you are duplicating a long spindle but will be easier to store.

I have two images of the duplicator table underneath. It appears to be shifted to one side. I will have to build a duplicator table one of these days. Is there some reason why the table is not symmetrical on the legs?

I do not know why the overhang, but both pix are the 505-5@0 position.

That overhang is towards the rear.

The cutter/follower holder is not used back towards the rear anyway as it is always in front of the workpiece.

Making the table deep would not hurt IMHO.
