Greetings!

So, I'm looking at making a cribbage board that folds over on itself. I'd prefer to have the two sides of the board flush and the hinges hidden when it is open.

Any advice on what type of hinges might allow for something like this?

After noticing those barrel hinges are for 1/2" wood. You may be better served by shopping the Soss invisible hinge in the internet. You might be able to find some locally. They are not all barrel hinges.

There re different types of Soss hinges. Some small and some for lrge heavy doors.

If you are using 3/4" wood, maybe the Soss 203 or 303 might work for you.

Problem with the barrel and SOSs hinges is they are visible when open and hidden when closed. OP was looking for hinges that are invisible when open.

The cribbage board is not a typical application.
If the barrels are drilled in the end grain then when the board is open (flat on the table) the hinges would be closed (not visible),
when the board is folded (closed) the hinges would be visible.

A couple of 100 ought to do. Notice the 1/2" depth which precludes surface peg holes. But the barrel type may be preferable.

Then there are plain old butt hinges, but they need pin exposure on the bottom.
