I agree. When I got the email about the SS Traveling Academy at the beginning of November I called SS to see if the old policy of souses attending free still applied. Gail knew nothing about it and insisted they don't do traveling accademys any more. I told her the email has the SS phone number and email address. After putting me on hold twice she came back and said "I guess we do. I will have Mike Young call you".
When Mike called I told him the story. He said everyone was supposed to be told months ago.
Mike said! Gail said! The email said!
Dusty asks! Are the reinstated "traveling academies" a business project of Mikes' or are they a Marketing Concept of Shopsmith's. When I read what I have been able to read about this, I sense it to be Mike's.
OK, whatever Dusty. It is Mike's idea but who is paying Mike. He is certainly no doing this on his dime. Who do you think is paying him? Do you think SS would allow this without their blessing and send out emails with their contact information all over it.
Here is the From: address of the email I received...

"Mike said! Gail said! The email said!" Yes that is what they said!!! Sorry , I don't have recordings.
I can send you the email I got if you want to see it.
Why are you so skeptical? This is a good thing.
My post was to the question about SS internal communications and I stand by it.
