Re: Bandsaw drift, is this normal?
A few other things come to mind to me 1. Make sure that the table is perpendicular to the saw blade. 2. Use an auxiliary fence to support the stock. 3. The side of the stock that rides the fence should flat against the fence to prevent wobble 4.the edge against the table should be 90 deg to the face...

Re: How to paint the access badge?
I painted the whole thing red and then sanded the letters by putting the badge on a piece of sandpaper to take the paint off the letters. Progress through 400 or 600 grit and it looked OK

Check the license plates. One of them can be checked on the FCC website or the ARRL website

Re: 5/8" blade stuck in arbor
Can you get the arbor off the quill shaft? It looks in your photo that the set screws are not lined up, they should be. If you can get it off the quill then proceed as edma suggested and it should come apart.

Re: it's a shallop
My wife and I watched the entire series of TURN. We both grew up in central Long Island so we were familiar with all the town names. Did not notice the boats then but would not be surprised if they the same. Lots of clamming and oystering on LI. Oyster Bay on Long Island is appropriately named.
