Has anyone tried cutting your owned conical disk sandpaper from a sheet for the flat disk? I don't imagine it would be difficult if you have an old piece to use as a template.

I have the Shopsmith version. They are very high quality, and work great. But the price on the ones from ptree is certainly attractive. What do you think of them? Since you provide your on wood, you can make them different lengths, but they look pretty adjustable so you should only need one set of boards for most projects.

I am very deeply saddened by the passing of Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia. A dedicated jurist who firmly believed the TEXT of the Constitution and the law were the most important thing. I agree that he will be missed. Additionally, Obummer will now have an opportunity to pick an anti-American justice to give the anti-Constitution liberals control of the SCOTUS for the foreseeable future.
