DLB,
Thanks for the response, the confusion is my fault.
You said t-nut but I was thinking t-BOLT.

Re: T-track clamp recommendations
Thanks for the replies.
DLB:
I like the looks of the Incra clamp but, if I use an SS t-nut, the threaded portion is only 1-3/16" long.
I'm not sure how thick a board that would let me clamp.

Re: T-track clamp recommendations
So, there are no out-of-the-box clamps that will work in a SS track?

T-track clamp recommendations
I am looking for t-track clamp suggestions. Most t-track clamps in the wild are for non-Shopsmith-sized tracks. I could buy some of those and replace their sliders with Shopsmith t-nuts and new threaded knobs. But, it offends me (monetarily and otherwise) to buy something and then just toss part of ...

BigKahuna,
Thanks for the reply and especially the thorough explanation.

SS 510: Align fence
Hello, I need advice on whether anything can be done with my fence. I have changed out my SS 500 table, fence, etc. for a 510 table, fence, etc. The miter slot and fence were not parallel to the saw blade. I realigned the table so the miter slot is parallel to the saw blade. However, the fence is st...

Re: What size is hex head attaching 510 table to trunnions?
The thing is, I have lots of hex wrenches and used all of them at one time and another.
But, none of my wrenches are that big.
I can probably measure the hex opening and that will tell me.

What size is hex head attaching 510 table to trunnions?
What size is hex head attaching the SS 510 table to the trunnions?
The part# for the screws is: 426370
However, the SS site does not list any specs and I need to buy a hex wrench to fit it.
(Doing a table alignment.)
What size do I need?
Thanks.

Re: Saw Arbor SS 510
SSUEL,
Thanks for the reply.
I knew of this capability but, my problem is that my old SS 500 arbor is too short so the saw blade impinges on the 510 blade guard, therefore, adjusting the stop out would only push it further against the saw blade.
But, I do have the correct arbor coming now.
