Hello. I recently bought Tod Herrli's video, "Classic Plane Making" and he was using a Shopsmith. I saw him using a tool rest for grinding chisels. It looks like the Veritas rest but it is a Shopsmith attachment. Anyone seen the video and know the rest I am talking about? Know where I can get one ...

Thanks for all the advice. I did buy a router table from rockler and love it. But I wanted to try to use the overhead router ability on the SS. I will try the morticing though. Thanks again. John.

Hello. I bought the collet for the SS to use it as a router, but even at the highest speed setting it just isnt working. Has anyone had success without buying the speed increaser? Thanks. John.
