I have a set of belts for the Shopsmith Mark 510 that I purchased a number of years ago. I was wondering if these belts will also fit the Shopsmith Mark 7?

I am 5'10" tall and I find myself stooping over when I use the Shopsmith in the lathe function. I am going to make a 3" tall block to fit under the legs to bring it up to height. But, rather than reinventing the wheel, has anyone come up with a design that they are especially happy with? If so ...

Does anyone have a file for printing an insert for the Shopsmith bandsaw aluminum table? our local library has a Flash Forge 3D printer that I have used to print an insert for the Shopsmith jigsaw. I was very pleased with the results.

Today I was spending a little time leveling up the bandsaw insert. Unfortunately, one of the screws is barely catching the threads. I would like to get a longer screw. Does anyone know the thread size of this screw? I have a local True Value Store. But I don't know if they would carry anything so ...

Thanks for all of your responses. I do have the 510. David, you are correct that the DVD is directly from the Sawdust Sessions. So, I did use the dollar bill trick. I have lubricated both trunnions with graphite. So now the drag is minimal. Thanks again for these responses.
