I took the motor apart, figured if its fried then it doesn't really matter. I don't know a whole lot about electric motor anything ...

Shopsmith is a 1956 model, motor is a GE 3/4 HP, 3450 RPM, 110 V.

Model # 5KC39NG 202

Does shopsmith rebuild these motors? If so any ballpark figures?

Newbie with an old machine

I recently bought an old Mark V off craigslist for 100$, figured was cheap enough to take the risk. The motor was out of the machine but everything looked to be there as far as someone with no experience with these could tell and the motor worked when plugged in.

Now I have put everything back ...
