Re: The Ultimate Sawsmith Radial Arm Saw Thread
Oh, I'm past the point of starting to get carried away, I have a 10ER, a 1954 Mark 5, plus five more of those, three 510s, five bandsaws, four jointers, three belt sanders, air compressor with paint gun, a 12" planer and a few other things as well.

Re: The Ultimate Sawsmith Radial Arm Saw Thread
I was able to find the specs on the Belt and Pulley kit. It has a 40" V belt and 2" x5/8" and 4-1/4" v 5/8" pulleys. I am still looking for the dimesions from the center of the SPT holes to the edge that bolts to the Sawsmith. @jpdalton, I agree that running the SPTs off a Shopsmith is a better ...

Re: The Ultimate Sawsmith Radial Arm Saw Thread
John
Thanks for that info. Could you please share the belt and pulley size in that kit. I'm also wondering what the distance from the center of the holes in the Add-a-tool bracket to the edge that bolts to the saw is as well. I'm hoping I can fabricate something up in the meantime. Bracket ...

Re: The Ultimate Sawsmith Radial Arm Saw Thread
Not trying to hijack the thread, but in my search for a 1960s Mark VII, I came across a package deal of the Shopsmith along with a Sawsmith radial arm saw, also had a few SPTs with it. As I was unloading everything at home, I got a bandsaw, jointer, belt sander, air compressor and spray gun ...

Re: No Call List
Sorry to tell you all this, but trying to stop calls with the federal do not call list is futile. It does not apply to preventing government agencies and as you probably noticed up until last month, political calls either. I have 40+ years experience working on telephone systems for both the federal ...

Re: Mark V Users Manuel
I found that most of the links in the forum seem to no longer work. I found a good clean copy of Mark V Maintenance and Alignment and have uploaded it here.

Re: What is the Shopmate Maxi-Clamp used for ???
To make it easier on anyone looking for the manual, I just uploaded a copy to http://vintagemachinery.org/pubs/detail.aspx?id=31885. I just picked up a used Mark V and the clamps were part of the package. I thought I was missing the rods until I realized the clamps were in an insert and found the ...

Re: 1960s Mark VII weight and disassembly question
GetterDone, thank you so much for the pics. I'm only interested in getting it to the 4th photo, at that point I can slide it on the sheet of plywood I keep in my SUV when I need to haul. Again, really appreciate all the extra effort you put into this for me.

Re: 1960s Mark VII weight and disassembly question
I saw the YouTube video from Scott at My Growth Rings doing a demo on one, and it looks like you can release both and slide it off. Just kind of wondering about the weight so I know if I need someone with me to assist in lifting it in the back of my vehicle.
