Well no problem on Shopsmith sending me Urethane tires, no questions asked, nothing out of my pocket, great service.
but now after reading more about them, I am thinking that I should of left the old rubber ones on or just gone with new rubber ones. Two issues have come up 1. the speed the Urethane ...

The new tires were shipped after Nick's post, I did use Nick's name in my email, and i will post the outcome on this issue. I just hope it will be resolved quickly.

But a big thanks for the replies, and yes that is my problem.
My tires that i did recieve from shopsmith are too big, 32-1/2" vise the normal 30". I should of known that they did go on there too easly.

same store with my computer, slow connection to shopsmith site.

I installed new Urethane tires on my shopsmith bandsaw, but they come off
the lower one came off twice and the upper one is about to come off.
Any ideals why this is happening? is it the adjustment of the bandsaw?
I'll admit that the first time the lower one came off i did not have enough tension on ...

yes i too agree that videos would be great, but i dont think it will happen, they want you to go to the traveling schools, and spend money that way.
the first day of the 3 day school is all set up and alingment of the shopsmith
