shopsmith site

Post by scottss »

Anybody notice how slow shopsmiths website is? It seems to take a very long time to load even on broadband.

Website Slow

Connections to the SSUG are just as slow or slower (at least for my connection). I shutter to think what it must be like on dialup. My aren't we spoiled. I remember mimeograph and overland mail. Now that was something to dread.

Back then we used things like the float to get from pay day to pay day. Don't try that today; it's now a good way to sink.

We were down for a couple hours yesterday when our lawn crew managed to cut the network cable outside the building, everything is back up to speed today.
