Broken Carriage up-date

Hi to all:
For all of you that replied to my last post here is is an update.
I sent the broken carriage to ShopSmith.
Very good customer service as always. They looked at the casting and determined it was bad. Linda called me sent a new carriage already on the machine and working great.

I have a 2003 510 and it has been well taken care of. My problem I went to install the main work table and was having lots of problems. I found my carriage was spit down the side where the main table leg goed into the crank. I am now looking at the parts book and about $82.18 to replace it. Just wan...

Bandsaw Urethane tires

Recently purchased a set. I am unhappy they are smaller than the old rubber tire and all of the adjustments are out of alinement. I contacted Shopmith and they more happy to refund me some money and sent me a new set of the old rubber tires. I wasn't after a refund but more on how to fix the problem...

I installed a new set today. Got to say so far not really impressed. The tires are smaller then the old rubber tires and make all of the blade adjustments unuseable. Also the tires don't fit the full width of the wheel and leave about 1/8" on one side or the other. I first put the tires all the...
