Bandsaw Urethane tires

Recently purchased a set. I am unhappy they are smaller than the old rubber tire and all of the adjustments are out of alinement. I contacted Shopmith and they more happy to refund me some money and sent me a new set of the old rubber tires. I wasn't after a refund but more on how to fix the problem?
Has anyone esle had this problem?

I don't have the urethane tires, but I think it's unreasonable to expect that you won't have to re-adjust your band saw after changing tires, urethane or rubber.

What is there to readjust as a direct result of changing tires - blade tension and WHAT ELSE? Maybe some follower bearings if the blade changes position on the wheels. Twenty minutes including the cold suds.

When I bought my older band saw I upgraded to to the Urethane tires. Of course the new tires were smaller they don't require glue like the old tires so the smaller diameter (thus friction) holds them in place. Did You warm the tires as specified in the installation instructions? This allows them to stretch over the wheels easier. As far as the other adjustments I was doing a complete upgrade at the time so I really didn't notice any differences. However, the only adjustment I can think of would be to adjust for the saw blade which would have to be done anyway.

I was referring to tension and tracking. Of course after that you would need to readjust the guides, since when you adjust the tracking you should have backed the guides away from the blade to let it track freely without interference.
