In essence, that is what it is. Just a drill extension for a large headed drill, i.e. Forstner bit. I suppose it would work as well with a drill bit with a shaft that will fit the extension and a large diameter larger than the diameter of the extension.

Couldn't you have accompished the same thing by attaching a 90 degree block to the miter gauge? You could set the miter gauge with your Miter Set for the complimentary angle and just attach the 90 degree block.

Who has the best idea for storing SS sanding belts? I need the least waste of space and not compromise the integrity of the belt. Pics might help if you can!:) Perhaps the best way to store Shopsmith sanding belts is to use the method recommended by Shopsmith: http://www.shopsmith.com/academy/belts...

It must be me, but I don't think 1958 is very old. And I used to take the ferry across the Straits before they built the bridge.

I can't claim to be the inventor. Passed down from my pure Irish grandfather. But, despite the "yuck" factor, it does work.

You may not believe this but in my family for at least 3 generations, the cure for poison ivy is coating the area with your own urine and letting it dry. Has worked every time but it has to be your own (no sharing).
