ThicknessJig

Does anyone out there have better pictures of the Thicknessing Jig that is used in his video? I downloaded the plans but can't quite see how to attach the opposite end from the handle? Why the 7/16" cut out in the base? Is that how he came up with the 5 degrees? Also what angle do you think he ...

I got a wild hair under my skin yesterday and decided to send Incra off an e-mail about my concerns with the set up for the shopsmith when using the TSlll fence system. I asked what additional pieces I would need to mount it on my craftsman saw. I thought everyone who had ordered the fence system an...

I did find a solution to the problem. After checking and re-checking that I was square with the main table I went back and re-aligned my support table. I figured that even if was off a little bit, by the time I moved the fence back to the 22 inches it was off more that 1/16 of an inch. Now after thi...

Tim I did, I took careful measurements and measured twice and then used a center punch to make sure the drill bit would not move. I drilled the first hole as per the instructions then set the tab in place with their self tapping screws. I then drilled the second hole so I knew it would fit I was so ...

Great News, I did set the "Floating Table" into the end of the shop smith and really just by mistake moved the power head closer to the middle of the machine. This allowed me to get the 32 inches to the end of the extention table that the fence called for. ( using the 5' extention tubes ) ...
