I bought my jointer used. I also lacks the stop. What year was it added?
Come to think of it, I also cut much less than 1/8". I would rather make more passes than cut too much. So hard to glue those tiny pieces back on.

I figured it must be something bad.The SS site is the only place I have this problem so now I must find out how to get rid it.
