I just pulled my shopsmith out of storage, set it up, went to rip a board. About half way through, the motor bogged down and stopped rather quickly. I backed off and it was dead. checked the breakers, tried a different ...

I just received my 1985 shopsmith that I won on Ebay, the only problem is the variable speed dial is binding towards the fast and slow speeds. I'm guessing it just needs a cleaning/lubricating job done to it. How do I remove that dial to freshen it up?
