There is a fellow in Whittier, CA who repairs these speed control dials. I have had a number of them repaired by him with excellent results. The repaired dial has steel gear teeth which are less likely to strip. He regularly offers this service on Ebay. I have contact information for him if he isn'...

Job Hunting
I'm job hunting now, as my job goes away at the end of July.
I'm shocked to find that nobody uses the IBM 019 keypunch anymore.
I'll have to fall back on my skills at Zeppellin driving and ice delivery.
I'll check out the sites. THX!

Did you ever get confused about what grit those little pieces of sandpaper are when you are sanding a small project? So you unfold it and find that you cut from a section of the original and the grit is no longer visible. Try the sandpaper organizer shown below. It works for me [ATTACH]9335[/ATTACH...

Living in a very rural area, I have limited places to find what I need. Can someone point me to a site to find a non pistol grip, rechargeable cordless driver. Don't need a lot of oomph but would like a long life per charge. Would consider disposable batteries if necessary. Thanks folks. Black and ...

Before we start the trepanation, this word of trepidation: Always wear your safety glasses.

But wait!
If you are doing an inside pocket, you would have to back'ards the board and make certain that your pockets were centered, or at least mirror images. Looks great for outside pockets.

Dave, One great reason to take the legs off. I wheeled mine to my chevy blazer, took one set of the wheels off, put the wheeless side on the tailgate, got inside the car through the side door, pulled it mostly in, took the other set off, push it all the way in, packed the wheels, bandsaw, jointer, j...

I'm new here! (Mark from Southern Ohio)
I have posted before but I thought I would introduce myself. I'm Mark. I'm from Southern Ohio. I just got my shopsmith in November of last year and have been replacing abused/worn parts. (Well the thing IS 30 years old.) I've appreciated the helpful and warm spirit I've seen here. I FINALLY got ever...
