i used 6 cheap carbide blades,,adding paper washers,,oaktag ,( ill replace the papere washers whn i find some dado shims bob fm indiana

after calming down after using shopsmith version of a dado blade (out of the box 50 thousands out of tune),,i envoked the principles of on the cheap engineering,,,,bought 6 low cost 24 t carbide blades for 1.61 each,, made some heavy paaper washers,,,installed blades ,,, test cuts,,,worked like a ch...

anyone use the biscuit attachment? any good? i see a few on ebay and wonder if it will fit on a 10er,,,methinks i could use somthing like that,,,with a jig ,, putting the wood to the machine,, viv a vis, the machine to the wood,, indianabob grower of fine weeds and a few hostas

i dont have any "paper" on my machine,, are the quill bearings common, or is this going to be aproblem finding them,,,indianabob,, old and grey

rule no one, first use a dial indicator before having aligator mouth superseed humming bird butt,,,,,looks like its the bearings in the quill,,,any problems anticipated on inspection and removing bearings..indianabob

on my 60 yr old er 4 digit serial,, ive noticed my quill is a little loose,, i was thinking of drillingm three holes and using brass bolts with stop nuts to hold the quill steady,, any suggestions,,,indianabob

i aquired a new shopsmith dado blade,, it was so out of tune it was usless,,,i contacted a saw sharpening guy and he said 45 dollars to get in tune cutting a 3/4 slot the center was 1/16 higher,,,,not a recommended tool,,,, lol and the wobble blades are brutal,, why would anyone buy one of those ind...
