I would go to Frazee Paint or one of the other Auto paint places to get the right type of paint and they should be able to match the color and maybe even put it in a spray can.

Don't know if they can do the Hammered Finish type of paint for the Greenies and Goldies.

Try Deft Danish Oil, you can re coat in an hour, it is a Tung Oil Poly blend. I have made my own with roughly equal parts of 100% Tung Oil, Poly, & mineral spirits. You can use Semi Gloss Poly if you don't want a high gloss finish.

To make a wiping Poly you can dilute it half and half with mineral ...

Jacobs still offers a version of it, the 3326A, it won't close on a 1/16" bit either.

I just checked an old 3326 chuck that came with a 55 greenie.

The key is a K32H with hex rod for a handle.

This chuck will not close down far enough to chuck up a 1/16" drill bit.

Has anyone else had old cans of Johnson Paste Wax start to go real soft after several years? I have thrown out old cans with a little wax left in them because it was much softer than a new can.

Could be the summer heat here in Arizona.

The one I looked at when I was at Woodcraft had a lot of play in the Plunge Base. I am looking to replace a PC 890 series combo kit because of play in its plunge base so I didn't buy the freud.

Kreg recommends that the drill bit turn at 2000 RPM, K speed setting. Also the bit should stop about 1/8" from the edge of board. Bit points to the center of the edge of the board.
