Bob, I just ordered the main track guide for a saw. The t-square attachment seems interesting, I'll get that later after I play around with it. Hey Bicman. Hope all is well! I noticed that the TrueTrack just went on sale at SS (250 plus S&H), which makes it similar in price to the other vendors...

I also went to order the True Trac from Shopsmith on 4/13 Friday. It was $269.64 but went up to $299.99. I was going to get it anyway to help out ShopSmith but with shipping and tax added I couldn't justify it. I called the Tool Nut at 9:30pm on Friday and actually got ahold of someone that answere...

I was going to buy one from Shopsmith yesterday until I learned I couldn't use the 20% off coupon code for the purchase. Why? Dave told me the reason was that Shopsmith didn't make it, so the 20% coupon was no good. <heavy sigh> So for giggles and grins, I Googled it and found a place called http:/...

Very nice! I just received a couple of new kits and some blanks from CraftSuppliesUSa this week, but haven't had a chance to use them yet. Still refurbing the 500 I recently picked up. Have fun making lots of pens, and more importantly, lasting memories!!

Looking good, bdeweese. Another great machine is in the delivery channels. cranehead, we are waiting for pictures. Good luck with whatever is left. BTW, I've been using that "it's too cold or too windy to paint" excuse ever since I finished building the new TV cabinet. Thanks Dusty. Could...

I am in the restoration mode also, maybe a bit behind where you are- just ordered my verde green yesterday. Which primer are you using? I have read in the forums a number of different applications. I am leaning toward the self etching primer- some folks have gone without primer over bare metal. tha...

Progress Report: 03/24/2012 Been busy - so figured I'd give a quick progress report. So far the major parts have all been cleaned, sanded and primed (Rustoleum Self-etching for the interior of parts, and Rustoleum bare metal primer for the exterior). You will notice the motor pan is missing as that ...

Greenies and early Goldies(Gilmer drive) had 1 7/8" bench tubes. The 1 3/4" way tubes will fit in a unit that originally had the larger bench tubes, but they will be off set slightly from 'normal'. They can be shimmed so as to achieve 'normal' spacing. Only the 1 3/4" tubes can be us...
