I believe there are only two wires. The plug is original, the motor, everything is.

I've been cleaning and tuning up my shopsmith 10er, and I've gotten to the original motor. It's in good shape, but I noticed that at the top where the bracket is (to attach to head stock) that there was a wire that was pinched between the end of the motor cap and the motor body itself.
