John can you send a pic of your upper saw guard hose set up please and any info on the aftermarket parts you mentioned? Thanks to all for your input. Can you clarify.

If you mean sawdust is escaping when in table saw mode, and the sawdust is landing on the carriage and tubes, yes this is a common problem and is due to the design of the lower saw guard needing to accommodate different widths for different accessories and of the tilting table ...

Do I have to use only SS blades or can I change arbor so I can use standard blades?
