It was Jacobs video and actually the sheave became stuck as it no longer moved from mid speed to low. The unit now progresses from low to high and back without the extreme difficulty that the unit always had in the low range. I will clean the penetrant out now and replace with the proper oil. Jacob Anderson. I’ll hit those sheaves with penetrating oil as per his video, see if that helps

I’ll check the clean aspect but do you think I may need to oil them as well? Is this how they behave when dry? Reason I ask is I had headstock sent off for total servicing so I’m assuming it was lubed as well.

Table saw worked fine for awhile but now as I spool up the speed from low to high the machine chatters a little and for a bit in the mid range the blade actually stopped spinning for a sec and then got up to speed. I recently bought a used 510 upgrade and I received 3 extension tables. The problem is none of the three have any studs. The single 500 table has four bolts but the new table has no threads to receive these bolts. Do I have to tap the four holes to receive these bolts or must I figure out how to ...
