Re: Second 10ER Ready to Use

That's a great motto, but unfortunately, the hiding place is where the CNC is going. :/

Re: Second 10ER Ready to Use

That's the idea. I really love the bench, it sure is nicer than the one that came with my main 10ER. I'm thinking about swapping the two benches, especially since I told my wife I'll be selling the second SS. It was a condition of getting a CNC for the shop. I think the biggest issue in swapping ben...

Re: Second 10ER Ready to Use

I have it around somewhere. The SS didn't come with one, but I ordered one from Skip. I need to figure out where I put it!

Re: Second 10ER Ready to Use

Thanks! She isn't as clean as I wish she'd be but I'm very, very happy with how it turned out. Everything moves smoothly now, even better than my main 10ER. I'm thinking I need to give my main a once over to compete.

Second 10ER Ready to Use

A while ago, I got a 10er off a guy on Craigslist for free. It came one step above a bucket of bolts. It was mostly seized by rust. The guy I got it from wanted to restore it but never found the time. That was nine months ago and I finally found the time to complete the restoration. This is what it ...

ShopSmith 10ER for Sale

Hi everyone! I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right place, or if this is allowed, but I have a second ShopSmith 10ER I'd like to pass on to someone who could use one. I recently upgraded my main ShopSmith to a 3HP DC treadmill motor with speed control and now it does everything I need it to d...

Re: Resawing 1"x10" stock

That might be a better option since I'll need to get two 1/2" doors out of the same panel.

Re: Resawing 1"x10" stock

Brenda, I didn't even think about renting a tool, that might be a great option.

Is there anyway way I can get two ~1/2" pieces out of the 1" piece?

I have a 1" thick by 10" wide board I need to be 1/2" thick for a project I'm working on. Is there a good way to resaw it? The tools I have on hand are: ShopSmith 10ER 9" Radial Arm Saw 8" Circular Saw Hand tools Hand power planer Router I'm not entirely opposed to getting a...
