Thanks guys! Boy am I glad to have this forum. I called and ordered my sleeve. I was unable to get Linda because it connected me with the next available agent. However, the guy knew what i wanted and took care of it.
He said to use contact cement to put it on.....sound ok?

The cover is gone.
I purchased a used SS V510 with jointer, beltsander, and bandsaw.
I going through everthing and cleaning, lubing, etc. and discovered from my sander manual that there is supposed to be a rubber sleeve on that drum.
there appears to be some sort of adhesive residue on the drum but that is all.

Belt Sander Drive drum cover.
As i look at the parts list it appears that only the entire drum assy. is offered.
all i need to do is replace the rubber cover. Can I purchase just that from Shopsmith?:rolleyes:
